Human Language Technology Systems Assessment

NSI supports several clients with operational insertions and assessments of leading edge Human Language Technology (HLT) both domestically and in forwardly-deployed areas. We prepare operational units for advanced technology insertions of HLT, and also provide the requisite technology and operational assessments to further the research and development efforts. This includes assessments of broadcast monitoring systems that transliterate, translate, and further post-process Arabic-language television for Psychological Operations, Special Operations, and the Strategic Effects Cell of Multinational Forces - Iraq. This technology allows these units to monitor foreign language media for information operations impact indicators, track quality control of PSYOP programs on Iraqi television, and provide much needed situational awareness of the human terrain.
