Jeffrey E. Day is a Principal Data Scientist at NSI, Inc. He is a skilled practitioner of applied statistical modeling with extensive experience in both the commercial and government sectors. Jeff’s research interests span a broad range of statistical techniques, including discourse analysis, text analytics, machine learning, forecasting, and behavioral and attitudinal segmentation, applied across various industry verticals. In his current role, Jeff has leveraged his expertise in statistical modeling to design and implement analytical solutions that have had a significant impact on business outcomes for his clients. He has extensive experience in developing predictive models that have helped his clients optimize their business processes and drive revenue growth. Jeff is also proficient in utilizing advanced data visualization techniques to communicate complex analytical insights to stakeholders across organizations.
Jeff has over 20 years of experience in statistics, marketing, and marketing research working with a diverse set of clients in retail, banking, travel, technology, and other sectors. Prior to joining NSI, he worked for Gallup, Inc. and SPSS, Inc. (now IBM). He holds a BA and MA in Political Science from Southern Illinois University.
