Description: NSI supported the Irregular Warfare Technical Support Directorate (IWTSD) and a partner organization to develop a specialized software application based on NSI’s framework for integrated influence, known as the Defense Analysis and Planning Support Environment DAPSE. This sophisticated decision support tool is designed to be used on military systems worldwide.
IWTSD is a key organization within the Department of War, is responsible for rapidly identifying and developing capabilities to support US military operations. This mission involves advanced research and development, technical innovation, and providing direct support to ongoing operations.
To enhance its capabilities, the IWTSD tasked NSI,
DAPSE provides a number of critical functions. First, it facilitates planning and analysis for teams that are geographically distributed or composed of multiple organizations, helping them work together seamlessly. Second, it enhances the informational and analytic foundation of integrated plans and campaigns, ensuring that strategies are built on a solid base of data. Finally, it guides non-technical users through a systematic and auditable process of analysis and planning, making it possible to navigate complex, multi-actor environments with confidence. In essence, DAPSE empowers military teams to make more informed and coordinated decisions in complex operational settings.
